Kanye West Shows Up at Federal Courthouse to Lend Support to Diddy
In today’s proceedings, U.S. government prosecutors presented testimony from two key witnesses to illustrate the alleged drug-fueled lifestyle of Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, and his supposed role in a criminal conspiracy. The first witness, Andre LeMon, an investigator with the Department of Homeland Security, detailed findings from a search of Diddy’s expansive Los Angeles home. Agents reportedly uncovered an alarming assortment of items, including 900 bottles of Astroglide lubricant, 200 bottles of baby oil, and a range of firearms, such as AR-15-style weapons.
The second witness, Jonathan Perez, Diddy’s former personal assistant, recalled discovering a video recording of an intimate gathering featuring Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, whom he referred to as “Jane.” Perez claimed that Diddy kept a Gucci pouch filled with cash and drugs including cocaine, ketamine, and Xanax, which was integral to the extravagant “king nights” he hosted with women in hotel rooms. However, under cross-examination, Perez acknowledged that these events occurred on Diddy’s personal time and not during work hours, complicating the prosecution’s narrative about the misuse of professional resources for illegal activities.
In other courtroom news, a potential issue arose with Juror #6, who might be dismissed over inconsistent answers regarding his residence. Judge Arun Subramanian will decide next week on the juror’s status. In a side note, hip-hop artist Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, made a brief appearance at the courthouse, adding a notable celebrity presence, but did not stay for the proceedings.
Meanwhile, Diddy appeared engaged despite visible sinus issues, passing notes to his legal team and listening closely to the testimonies. As the trial progresses, the prosecution is expected to conclude its case next week.
