Atlanta Police Report Theft of Unreleased Beyoncé Music from Choreographer’s SUV

Authorities reported that hard drives containing unreleased music from Beyoncé were stolen from her choreographer’s rental vehicle in Atlanta on July 8. The incident took place in a parking area east of downtown Atlanta, as detailed in a police report. Christopher Grant, Beyoncé’s choreographer, informed the police that the trunk window of his Jeep Wagoneer was damaged. He discovered upon returning that two suitcases and hard drives were missing.

The stolen hard drives not only contained unreleased music but also watermarked tracks, show footage plans, and both past and future set lists. While representatives for Beyoncé, who was performing her fourth and final show in Atlanta on Monday, did not respond immediately to requests for comments, the situation is being taken seriously. Grant was with a dancer from Beyoncé’s team at the time of the theft. Authorities have made progress in the investigation by tracking a laptop that was located in the SUV.

Additionally, they collected fingerprints from a vehicle seen alongside the Jeep, which reportedly contained a pair of AirPods that were allegedly taken during the theft. Surveillance cameras at the entrance of the parking area recorded the incident, providing further evidence for the police. In a public announcement, the police department stated that their larceny unit has secured an arrest warrant for a suspect, although the individual’s identity has not yet been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to recover the stolen materials and apprehend the suspect.
